NEU League Fees
NEU must pay Heartland team registration fees when team paperwork is submitted. Therefore, player registration fees are due when coaches turn in paperwork at the coaches' meeting.

The Age Group for a team is determined by the oldest player
*For tournament play, teams will play in age divisions (U10 for 3rd grade, U11 for 4th grade) unless there are 3rd or 4th grade divisions.

Premier team fees:
Under 9 and 10: $645 per team plus $15 per player
Under 11 and 12: $705 per team plus $15 per player
Under 13 and older: $740 per team plus $15 per player
Premier teams play by age group only. Teams must register based on age of their oldest player.
Heartland charges a higher fee for Premier teams. Cost per team is the Heartland fee. Per player fee covers state registration fees, insurance, etc.

Proof of Age
U9, 3rd grade, and older players who have not previously had an ID card issued by NEU, or who live in Missouri will need to submit proof of age with their registration form. The Kansas Youth Soccer Association and the United States Youth Soccer Association list the following documents, copies of which can be used as proof of age.
  1. birth certificate
  2. Uniformed Services Identification and Privilege Card (DD Form 1173) issued by the uniformed services of the United States
  3. birth registration issued by an appropriate government agency or board of health records
  4. passport
  5. alien registration card issued by the United States Government
  6. certificate issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service attesting to age
  7. current driverís license
  8. unexpired federal, state, or local government identification card (if documentation of date of birth is required)
  9. certification of a United States citizen born abroad issued by the appropriate government agency
Hospital, baptismal, or religious certificates will not be accepted (See USYSA Rule 204).
Please let parents know this ASAP so that they can locate their copy of the state issued birth certificate, or request one from the appropriate state.
